Pastor Jay is a passionate communicator, pastor, and leader with a heart for helping people live with purpose. Whether he’s speaking on marriage, leadership, or faith in everyday life, he brings a down-to-earth style that connects across cultures and generations. Plain English is built on the belief that truth should never be confusing. Pastor Jay’s goal is to communicate in a way that is clear, purposeful, and grounded in faith. Every message, class, and resource is designed to cut through the noise, speak directly to real-life challenges, and equip people to live, lead, and love with intention.

Jay English is a pastor, speaker, and leadership coach who exists to help people live, lead, and love with purpose. A former sales & training professional turned church leader, Jay has over two decades of experience building multicultural ministries, launching community outreach movements, and creating practical tools for spiritual growth.

He and his wife (Sonia) are the founders of Plain English, a non-profit committed to teaching truth with clarity and leading with compassion across racial, generational, and denominational lines.
